MAKEDA AND THOMAS

GHANAIAN CEREMONY

Before their French ceremony in Poitiers, Makeda and Thomas were married in a traditional Ghanaian ceremony at a chateau in the French countryside.

The Ghanaian ceremony was filled with dancing, colorful attire, traditional rituals and playful trickery (as is tradition Makeda’s family presented multiple “fake brides” to Thomas!). The reception featured a delicious Ghanaian feast that Makeda’s mom and aunties lovingly prepared. Every aspect of the day centered around Makeda and Thomas’ beautiful families.
