I’m so excited to share these photos from Melinda and Andrew’s spring engagement session at White Rock Lake! I met Melinda at The Oak Cliff Wedding Market and was thrilled when she reached out to me about doing engagement photos.

Spring is definitely one of my favorite times of the year for engagement sessions. There’s something about the warm light and lush green grass that makes my heart happy. One of my favorite spots for portraits is White Rock Lake. It’s such a classic location and that golden light never fails! After weeks of freezing temperatures, it was so nice to finally have a warm spring session and enjoy the nice weather.

It was such a joy working with Melinda and Andrew and their sweet pups. I love it when couples choose to include pets in their sessions. It’s always so fun to take those sweet family portraits!
